When you do decide to get your own server,remember to monitor your sites.To this day I have been let down by every single company at one time or another and my sites have gone down without me knowing about it. So my advice is to subscribe to a service that will alert you if your sites are down. Over the last few months I have seen Hostgators Instant Chat service deteriorate but they are still pretty good on other areas and I dont believe any providers statistcs of 99.9% up time. Make up your own mind but I have warned you of some of the problems.
